International Day Of The Hologram June 5th

Celebrate the International Day of the Hologram on June 5th by seeing real holograms in Columbus, Ohio. A hologram records and replays an independent, fully three-dimensional image. See current work by Fred U. Needham, and some holograms from the 1980s and 1990s. June 5th is the birthday of Dennis Gabor, who invented the process in 1944, and received a Nobel Prize in Physics in 1971 for his work.
